For when you feel stuck

Sometimes life looses its luster before you even realized it was fading. The cement has dried around your situation, causing you to feel perpetually encased in your circumstances. The state of survival, exhaustion or monotony you have been living in feels normal, yet oh so unbearable at the same time. You’re ready for things to change.

But where do you begin? Identifying the starting point can be overwhelming, which is a huge barrier among many others that come with making positive changes.

Once you get started, other barriers will pop up along the way. Working on yourself can be revealing. The 5 questions below will at least help you to tackle that initial hurdle; figuring out where the starting point for getting unstuck even is.

Write your answers to the questions below somewhere.

What are 5 things you could live without that are currently taking up valuable space in your daily life?

What are 4 things keeping you stuck that are within your control to change?

What are 3 things not currently apart of your daily life that you want to start prioritizing and can realistically do at this time?

What are 2 things that have already improved in your current situation?

What is 1 thing you can implement TODAY from the above list you just made

We can settle into a rhythm that doesn’t match the tune our heart wanted to take. It can happen so easily, and yet changing the chorus can be so hard. If you feel this way, then hopefully these questions will help you start to see that there are ways you can start to pursue getting un-stuck now.
